I received this orange tomato carrot juice recipe from Chris of St. John's in Newfoundland and Labrador. For the first step you will need to prep your juicer and plug it in. I use a Kuvings brand multi purpose masticating juicer and it is one of the best at maximizing extraction. With regard to your collection vessel, make sure it can hold one liter of juice. For the second step you will want to wash your carrots, orange, and tomato under cold sink water. Next peel the carrots and orange, and then remove the stem from the tomato. Do not juice tomato stems or tomato leafy greens as they can be toxic. Once your produce is ready to roll, go ahead and grind it through your machine. It's hard to predict the exact amount of juice that will be pulled out of any given group of produce, so do always make sure you have a backup supply incase the yield is low. Once your juice is in your collection container, you will then want to forcefully stir it until it's even and smooth. Stirring also helps to remove the foam that likes to accumulate at the top of the juice. When I tested out this recipe I added a few ice cubes to the glass and it was so darn refreshing.
