Steven out of the fine city of Indianapolis Indiana has asked us to answer the following question. How many carbohydrates are in a cup of carrot juice? One cup of raw homemade carrot juice contains roughly 15 grams of carbohydrates. This amount accounts for roughly five percent of the daily recommended allowance of carbohydrates. Raw carrot juice contains a lot of natural vegetable based sugar, where most of the carbohydrates are located. If you are interested in lowering the amount of carbohydrates per glass, then simply dilute the juice with mineral water. I personally totally reject the Atkins diet craze within the United States, therefor I do not count carbohydrates. I find that the best and healthiest lifestyle requires moderate and nonextreme dietary habits, along with lots of exercise. We appreciate Steven taking time out of his day to send us this question, and hope our answer is helpful.
