Our webmaster received the following question from Megan of beautiful Augusta Maine. Megan asked how can I use the leftover carrot pulp in my juicer? What I like to do with my own carrot pulp is to dump it into my blender along with a cup or two of spring water, and then puree this mixture together until it's very smooth. Then I will spread this super smooth carrot paste out on parchment paper within one of my food dehydrator trays, letting it dehydrate for roughly twenty full hours. Once done you will have yourself some delicious and all natural carrot crackers. Feel free to experiment by adding salt and seasonings to your carrot paste before you blend it up. Examples of what you can add to it are ground cayenne pepper, chili powder, garlic cloves or garlic salt, ground onion powder, Tabasco sauce, and a whole variety of other delicious flavor accents. Also don't hesitate to make crackers out of the pulp that is leftover from carrots and other raw produce.
