Patrick from the city of Harrisburg Pennsylvania would like to know does carrot juice contain antioxidant properties? The answer is yes, raw fresh carrot juice contains a large volume of beta-carotene which is a powerful antioxidant. As many of you are already aware, antioxidants can be very instrumental in preventing many forms of cancers from forming within the body, and thus it's important to make sure that your diet is antioxidant rich. In order to make sure that you are getting enough antioxidants, drink a pint of carrot juice several days a week. I should also point out that while fresh made carrot juice does contain a lot of antioxidants, pasteurized or store bought commercial carrot juice usually contains substantially less antioxidants. So with that said do make sure that you're making your own raw carrot juice, a process that can be done quite cheaply using your own electric juicer. Thank you again to Patrick for this excellent question, I you liked the answer.
