Carrot juice is one of the richest vitamin A and beta-carotene sources on the planet, it also contains abundant amounts of iron, calcium, antioxidants, zinc, and vitamin C. To summarize, it's a vitamin and mineral powerhouse, and definitely something that a breastfeeding mother should drink. One pint to a liter a day is all the carrot juice that needs to be consumed in order to benefit from it's nutrient rich liquids. The only precautionary note that I should mention is that because carrot juice is so rich in vitamin A, you don't want to drink too much of it as you can overdose on the vitamin.
