We just received the following question from Sorcha of Albany New York. She asked are there carrot juice benefits for pregnant women? Raw fresh homemade carrot juice is super beneficial to the health of pregnant women. The juice contains huge amounts of vitamin A, beta-carotene, calcium, zinc, and vitamin C. Homemade carrot juice also contains small quantities of iron, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, pantothenic acid, and many others. For pregnant women to receive the many nutrients within carrot juice they should consume it at least two to four times a week and in serving sizes of around a pint to a liter. I also want to really emphasize that homemade raw carrot juice is what you want to drink, as store bought carrot juice varieties have usually been pasteurized and thus most of it's naturally occurring vitamins and minerals have been deactivated. We're happy to be able to answer this question.
